Following are our recommendation to add on your packing list

    1. Wind blocker or a Sweatshirt

      Besides being hot in the summer days. It is usually chilly cold in the shade. Due to this huge difference in the temperature, it is often easier for people to catch a cold.  We tell all the travelers to have a wind blocker or a sweatshirt with them all the time. Even when it is extremely hot. So a light wind blocker jacket is extremely important to pack for the Tibet weather all the time. During your journey to Tibet. You will often stopover at the high mountain passes. The average hight of those passes at about 3800m and it would be exposed to wind. The wind at the mountain passes are very strong and most of the time could blow away your hat. It is cold up there. So during your journey, Always make sure you have a wind blocker jacket right beside you in the car. So a light wind blocker jacket is extremely important to pack for the Tibet weather all the time next to your seat in the car.

    2. Sun Screen lotion

      Tibet‘s altitude and atmosphere give clear passage for solar radiation strike with intense radiation. It’s very frequent to get sunburnt, so bring sunscreen with a high SPF value, a good quality pair of sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat. Calamine lotion is great for a mild sunburn. Having a good moisturizer is also helpful as the dry air may cause your lips and the tissue in your nostrils to crack.
