Altitude sickness, also known as Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), is a pathological effect of high altitude on the human body. The causes of Acute Mountain Sickness by acute exposure to low air pressure (usually outdoors at high altitudes). It often happens around 3,000 meters above sea level.
As you all know, the air mass of the earth is pulled towards the surface of the earth by the earth gravity. This led to excellent air density around the sea level and low area. As you go up to the high elevation, the amount of air is lesser and lesser. Above 3000 meters of sea level, the air pressure is more secondary beyond our body’s capacity.
