The distance between Lhasa train station from downtown Lhasa is about 20 kilometres. It takes about 30 minutes to reach your hotel. You can either take a taxi, private vehicle or public bus to the train station. But if you are booked a Tibet tour with us, you will provide a free pick up and drop off for all the travellers.
The Lhasa train station is located in the new area of Lhasa city called the New Liuwu Area. This area is located right across the Lhasa Kyichu River. So to reach the train station from downtown, you will have to drive across the Liuwu bridge.
