Do hotels in Tibet have hot water for showers 24 hours a day. It depends of what kind of hotels and which region are you reffering to.

In Lhasa and Shigatse: The most basic hotel will be three star hotels or butique hotels. All the hotels in Lhasa has hot running water fr 24 hours with a proper western style toilet and shower. In this two cities, you have right up to five stars hotel like St Regis and Shangrila Hotel.

Basic hotels in Tibet: If you are staying a night in other smaller towns and cities in Tibet, you will be staying in a local Tibetan hotels. Majority of those hotels are new hotel with a very good bathroom and comfortable Bed.

Guest House: As of now in year 2025, you will be only staying in guest house in Tibet in Mount Everest Basecamp, 2 nights in Kailash kora trek and three nights in northern route. In these places most doesnt even have a proper toilet. There is not way you will find hot running water in these accomodations.

Some areas with a good hotel could take some times to get hot water from the Tab due to low sun shine, or limited pressure in the water, or due to power outages.
